All About the Artist

From a young age the artist has been exploring creative expression through colour, frequently by a variety of paints applied to larger canvas pieces. Often the subject matter is inspired by contemporary art and impressionist works. Being inspired by the world itself, the artist focuses on art which brings the most satisfaction and joy.
Abstraction of common, natural and man-made shapes, dynamism of line and mark- making, and the exploration of colour reflects the artist’s desire to extend imagination beyond the confines of realism and portrays the free flowing, multi-dimensional nature of the subject matter, often a rich landscape, be it a field of wild flowers, or thousands of people walking past St Paul’s Cathedral.
The artist enjoys painting medium to large box canvases, and mid-sized canvas boards. The artist would be happy to create commissioned requests/bespoke pieces to accommodate viewers who are inspired by the pieces but cannot find what they are looking for.
The artist notes, in particular, the works of Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrain, Jackson Pollock, Damien Hirst, Claude Monet, Paul Signac, and Paul Sérusier, as inspiring and reigniting his passion for his craft time and time again!
Artistic passion from a young age. With exhibits in London and academic institutions, showcasing talent as a teenager, the art developing and shaped by life experiences and with changing inspirations preceding fluctuating world perceptions. Art as platform for expression that utilises one’s creativity.
